Candle Care

We want you to get the most out of your candle so, here are our top ‘candle care’ tips.

• Remember – never leave a burning candle unattended. 

• Always start by trimming the wick to roughly 5mm for each burn. This helps to control the size of the flame which in turn, helps you to get the most out of your candle. 

• On your candle’s first burn allow the wax to pool all the way to the edge of the jar. This can take anywhere between 1-3 hours. However, it is SO worth it in the long run and will help to prevent your candle from tunnelling.

• Do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at any one time. 

• Always leave at least 10cm between burning candles. 

• Do not burn candles on or near anything that can catch fire.

• Keep the wax pool clear of debris such as matches. 

• Extinguish your candle when only 10mm of wax remains at the bottom. Do not relight.
